We went to the zoo today in the hot and brutally humid weather. It was good to get Sabian out and about with us. It's funny to see everyone staring at us and Sabian, wondering what the story must be. Most Vietnamese have no problem being very forward and blunt. So we had some people walk over and just watch us and talk about us while standing 3 feet in front of us. Some older generation Vietnemese are not as open to Americans coming and adopting their children, so we might get a sour look and animated speaking but most people are very nice and think it is really neat.
Christmas is huge in Vietnam. They decorate everything in the streets and the children are dressed in Santa costumes every night for pictures. So we thought we give Sabian a festive vibe with the green and red. All the childrens schools were at the zoo for the day. Of course every child had Santa hats and costumes on for their pictures.
